I couldn't be more excited to share with you this adorable newborn session. This handsome little man is Rome Valentino, named after the eternal city. His soft blond hair adds gentleness to his graceful name. Baby Rome was born on the 01.01.2019 in St Thomas hospital. His daddy, professional Colombian footballer Alexis Pérez, rushed to be by his side and brought with him ball with Rome's name and DOB as a gift. We used this special ball to photograph Rome during his newborn session at my Woolwich studio. He posed like a pro footballer already! His gentle eyes kept looking at me during the first part of his session as he wasn't sleepy yet. We used a light grey wrap to swaddle him and after while he fell asleep. He cuddled grey little bunny and looked so adorable. As Rome has the most amazing blond hair we used golden yellow and green set-ups to compliment his complexion. He also managed to have a little snooze in blue stripy PJs! We finished session using natural creams and beige. Could he look even more angelic? I'm so excited to share with you beautiful session of Aurelia. Firstly, how adorable is her name? Her name is derived from aureus which means 'golden'. Secondly, her newborn session was a gift from a dear friend from Singapore who found my newborn work on Instagram. Aurelia arrived for her session wide awake but as soon as we wrapped her up she slowly drifted to sleep. Babies absolutely adore being wrapped as it reminds them the time in their mummy's belly. Her parents wanted soft feminine colours for her session. We actually started with rich berry colour as it matches her complexion beautifully. We then continued her newborn session using natural creams and blush pinks. Her parents absolutely loved her flower set up, it's so soft and delicate. And the cute unicorn she cuddled during her session, it couldn't get any more adorable! We also managed to use pale sage wrap and beautiful flower headband. Aurelia's newborn session ended with timeless parents images. These photos will be the most important to her once she grows up, being held by her parents, full of pride and love they feel for their precious daughter.
